Matthew 12:36-37..."But I tell you that men will have to give an account on the day of judgement for every careless word they have spoken. For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned." WOW! Does that mean the we will all be condemned? Yes, if we don't repent and try not to do it again but if we fail, we must keep on trying to do what is right. We need to ask God to guard our tongue. Remember in one of my previous posts I gave you scripture about confessing your sins and repenting. So what is a careless word? It could be any statement uttered in malice, cursing, gossiping, lying, cruel and mean statements to a person's face or behind thier back and it could also be a crude joke.

Today I'm going to spend most of the day painting. It's my creative way to relax from writing and teaching.

Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned and come short of the Glory of God." Wow, what does that mean? As I understand it, it means that we were born into sin. So what do we do about it?...In 1 John 1:9 the apostle writes: If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteous.

Yesterday I wrote our ministry newsletter. It is mailed out to about 1,000 families. My husband Pastor Bob writes a sermonette which is printed on the back of the letter.

Good morning. Have you ever wondered why, if you pray and pray for something, God doesn't always answer you? I have had that happen to me. However later I was glad that He hadn't given me what I wanted at the time. You see God can see the beginning to the end. He knew that what I was praying for, at the time, wasn't what was best for me. Here is the scripture for today: Romans 8:28...King James version...And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to his purpose.

Well...now I have time to post something new. It is another beautiful day here at Hideaway Ponds! This park is truely something. The swiming pools, the fishing ponds and the huge club-house, makes this park a place where anyone would like to visit, for rest and recreation. We are privileged, due the Ministry that we provide, to live here.

We had a miracle this last weekend. A man was holding his little grandson and he asked Pastor Bob, my husband to pray for him as he was very sick. I saw as my husband placed his hand on the child, that the child was weak and jaundice. The next day the little boy was completely well and playing in the kiddie pool! Praise God!

Here is a thought for the day...James 5:16 "Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that you may be healed. The effectual and fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much." [This is in the old King James Bible.] And this is from the N.I.V. "Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective."

Day before yesterday, I had to correct eight chapters of my book Patience' Secret, that my editor e-mailed back to me. It is a story about a girl who escapes from a polygamous compound.
Today I have to make five cards. One is a birthday card and the rest are for graduation.

Here is a spiritual thought for today found in Revelation 19:6&7 Hallelujah! For the Lord God Omnipotent reigns! Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory.

Good morning everyone. Do you struggle with this problem? You want to do the right thing but something seems to always get in the way? Well you're not alone. The whole human race has this weakness, however the word of God, the Sword of the Spirit has the answer and here it is. In Ephesians the 6th. chapter, in the NIV version, starting with the 1oth verse, the writer, the apostle Paul tells us this: Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the whole armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breast plate of righteousness in place and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.

Thank you God for your mercy!
James 2:13 NIV ...because judgment without mercy should be shown to anyone who has not been merciful. Mercy triumphs over judgment.

1 John 4:7 Beloved let us love one another; for love is of God and everyone that loveth is born of God, and knowth God.

Good morning! It's beautiful day here in southern Louisiana. We live at Hideaway Ponds Recreational Resort, shaded by ancient oaks, laced with Spanish moss. For a girl who grew up in northwestern Montana, this is paradise! Don't get me wrong, Montana has it's beauty; snow capped mountians, clear flowing streams, clean air and wide open spaces. But when winter comes, it can be from hell!

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave His only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

Isn't that simple. So to be saved and go to heaven, all we have to do is believe! Forget about all the ritualistic works that people put themselves through. Read your Bible, it's all there and it's so simple.

Thank you God for giving me such peace, strength and joy!

Psalms 29:11 The Lord will give strength unto His people; the Lord will bless His people with peace.
